Hamptons Baseball: Michel Scores Both Riverhead Runs in Win Over North Fork

Outfielder crosses plate twice in 2-1 win on Sunday night.

Speedster Adam Michel, the leadoff hitter for the Riverhead Tomcats, scored all the runs the Tomcats needed on Sunday night as the team's pitching held its ground in a 2-1 victory, according to HamptonsBaseball.org.

The website reported that four pitchers combined for a six-hit, nine-strikeout performance over the North Fork Ospreys. 

With the win, the Tomcats improved to 3-3 as the Ospreys fell to 4-2.

Both teams play Monday night at home. Riverhead will host the Sag Harbor Whalers at 5 p.m. and the Ospreys will play the Southampton Breakers at 7 p.m.
