Hamptons Baseball: Tomcats Drop Two Over the Weekend

Eight errors in two games lead to a couple of losses to North Fork and Southampton.

The Tomcats dropped two games over the weekend, with losses to North Fork and Southampton. 

On Saturday Riverhead (5-6) fell by a score of 6-4 to the Ospreys, who currently sit atop the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League with an 8-3 record, according to HamptonsBaseball.org. Four pitchers threw for the Tomcats, and Eric Schlitter led the offense for the Tomcats with three hits and a walk.

The Tomcats comitted five errors in the field on Sunday en route to a 4-1 loss to the Southampton Breakers.
