You Call the Game: Let's Talk Riverhead Sports

Join our open blog for all things Riverhead High School athletics and share your opinions, thoughts, messages and photos from the game.

The Riverhead varsity football team will kick off its 2013 season at home against North Babylon in a huge rematch game at 4 p.m.

The reigning Suffolk County Champion Blue Waves are coming off an amazing 6-2 year last season, capped off with a 52-20 win over North Babylon to capture the Suffolk crown before falling to Garden City in a hard-fought Long Island Championship game.

Can the team repeat? Can they beat the team they took down last year to win the championship? Why not share your thoughts, opinions and photographs of you and your friends at tomorrows game on our open blog: “Go Blue Waves! Riverhead Athletics 2013.”
