Family Service League Seeks School Supplies
Drive will provide pupils with classroom essentials; a drop-off center is located on
With the first day of school right around the corner, Family Service League is looking for donations for its annual Backpacks for Back to School drive.
Pencils, markers, crayons, colored pencils, marble compostion books, loose-leaf paper packages, subject notebooks, binders and backpacks are among the items FSL is seeking.
Monetary donations are also welcome and are used for older students with specific items not usually donated in the supply drive.

Last year, 1,925 children from 885 families received help and this year, the number of those in need has grown.
Note: Items must be new and in original packaging.

The Family Center Drop-Off Locations are:The Riverhead Family Center, 208 Roanoke Avenue, Riverhead, The Olsten Family Center, 790 Park Avenue, Huntington The Iovino South Shore Family Center, 1444 Fifth Avenue, Bay Shore and The Brookhaven Family Center, 1490 William Floyd Parkway, East Yaphank.
