A 4-year-old lab-terrier mix, Buster is a former Kent puppy who was adopted by a local family when he was 8-weeks-old. After two months at Kent, Buster is doing much better. He weighs 56 pounds and is great with big dogs, though he's still working on learning to be gentle around smaller dogs. He is a great dog for families with older children and loves his squeaky toys, volunteers said.

Buster is neutered. He is taking eye medication for an eye irritation, which Kent staff say is getting better.
