Pet of the Week: Spring, a Lab Mix at Kent
Spring is a sweet, energetic girl looking for a home.
Meet Spring, a 1 1/2-year-old Lab mix at . Spring came to the shelter in April, and though she was named after the season, it's a good way to describe her.
Spring is full of energy and loves to play, shelter volunteers said. She is very friendly and is always eager to go out on walks and have fun. Spring would do best in a house with a big yard, or with a young family that could take her out to play often. She still needs some obedience training, volunteers said, but Spring is a fast learner.
Spring came to Kent from Brookhaven Animal shelter. The shelter there said that she was picked up off the streets as a stray. She still has a bit of growing to do, and shelter volunteers think she'll grow to be about 50 pounds. She may look like skin and bones, because she stays lean by spending so much time playing.
