Photos: Lobster Bash Benefits Homeless Program

Susan Lucci served as an honorary chair for a fundraiser at Dockers Waterside last Thursday, with proceeds going to benefit Maureen's Haven.

Hosted by Rechler Equity Partners, chaired by actress Susan Lucci, and benefitting Maureen's Haven, a fundraiser last week drew close to 200 guests as it raised funds to help out the East End's homeless population.

Maureen's Haven is a nonprofit that gives guests a warm place to sleep through the winter months, setting up at a variety of houses of worship throughout the five East End towns on a rotating schedule.

Lucci and her son, Andreas Huber, served as honorary chairs of the event, held at Dockers Waterside on Dune Road in E. Quogue. The lobster bash featured music by Stagecoach Junction and an auction to raise funds for the nonprofit.

Now in its eleventh year, Maureen’s Haven also provides vocational and educational training to homeless adults and families throughout the East End.
