The Timothy Hill Children's Ranch's Black Tie and Boots Ball, which took place on Thursday, is an annual event and the organization's biggest fundraiser.
The night is also an opportunity for the organization, a residency program for troubled teenaged boys, to thank the community for its support.
This year, the organization honored Riverhead Resident Danielle Fischer as Volunteer of the Year for her service to the Ranch. Also awarded was Suffolk County National Bank as Business of the Year for its continued support of the organization.
"It's All for the Kids," a charity organization, was also recognized, receiving the Ambassador of the Year Award as well. Also as a special thank you to the community, the young men whose lives are being enriched by the Ranch gave a special western dance performance.
