Dueling Pianos, Classic Cars, and The Wine Project This Week in Riverhead

- Debate the issues: Riverhead Democratic candidates Ann Cotten-DeGrasse and Angela DeVito for Riverhead Town Supervisor, and Republican Town Board candidates Jodi Giglio, John Dunleavy and Anthony Coates will face off at the Suffolk Theater Monday night at 7 p.m. For information, click here.

- The Wine Project Wraps Up: The Riverhead Project presents the summer finale of The Wine Project on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Claudia from Martin Scott Wines, a wine purveyor, hosts this week’s dinner, which features a multi-course family style menu with wine pairings selected by Claudia, who will be accompanied by Rita Winkler of Greenport's Vines and Branches Specialty Olive Oils. The dinner will be served on the restaurant’s outdoor patio in celebration of the last Tuesday of summer. Cost is $60 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The menu will be prepared by Chef Lia Fallon.

- Open House: LIU Riverhead will host an Open House on Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tour the facility, meet with faculty and admissions counselors, and learn about degree programs. A unit of Long Island University, LIU Riverhead offers fully accredited degree and certificate programs in childhood education, literacy education, special education, including the Advanced Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, homeland security management and cyber security policy and communication studies – new media. - Dueling Pianos: Michael and Amy's music and comedy dueling pianos show premieres with part music, part comedy, part theater, part concert, and improv. The audience is part of the show as Michael and Amy combine a mix of musical genres with humor. The event takes place Friday at 9 p.m. at the Suffolk Theater. For tickets and more information, click here

- Classic Cars Rev Up: It's a Classic Cars Cruise Night on the Peconic Riverfront Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
