Free Thanksgiving Dinner, Holiday Folk Art, Black Friday this Week in Riverhead

Here's a look at what's happening around Riverhead this week.

- The Living Water Full Gospel Church, located at Hubbard Avenue and Shade Tree Lane, presents South Florida musicians "Steve & Jordan," who will celebrate Thanksgiving with music, testimonies, and dessert on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

- The Church of the Harvest, located at 572 Raynor Avenue in Riverhead, presents a free Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday at 11 a.m. The meal is offered to anyone who is alone or in need this Thanksgiving. Van pick-up every 30 minutes at the Riverhead Grill on Main Street. Meal delivery to the homebound is also available. Contact the church office if you need a meal delivered or transportation to the church. 631-727-1977.

- It's Midnight Tanning Madness, with free tans, beginning on Black Friday eve, Thursday, from 7 p.m. until 9 a.m. on Friday. Hosted by Miami Tanning, located at 487 Main Road in Aquebogue, the event will feature free tans for all new clients. Must be 18 or older, or 17 with parent, both with IDs. The event will also include raffles, music, food, door prizes, fiveaways, discounts on all packages , lotions, and  Miami Stylez Boutique items discounted. Choose from scarves, dresses, heels, wedges, sneakers, bathing suits, jelly watches, and shimballa bracelets. Gift certificates are also available; a raffle winner will receive an unlimited month of tanning — five weeks in any room.

- Black Friday means one thing to the thousands who flock to Tanger Outlets in Riverhead every Thanksgiving evening and shop through the wee hours. Here's a complete guide to all the sales and deals at Tanger in Riverhead after the turkey is cleared away. Stores open at 10 p.m.

- It's Live Music with the Brothers Caldon, an acoustic rock duo, on Friday at noon at Martha Clara Vineyards. Free admission.

- Head to the Hallockville Museum Farm on Sound Avenue in Riverhead on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a "Country Parlor Holiday Folk Art & Gift Show." A gathering of folk artists and craftspeople in the historic Naugles Barn at Hallockville. Shop for folk art, crafts and gifts including baskets, tree trimmings and holiday decor, wreaths, rugs, woodcarvings and decoys, gift baskets, ornaments and more. Free admission.
