MATTITUCK

Antique Show: 
The Mattituck-Laural Historical Society will host an antique show on Saturday inside the Mattituck High School, starting at 9:00 a.m. Admission is $5. 

Watermelon Festival: From 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Harbes Family Farms will hold its 2013 Watermelon Festivalwhich will feature watermelon eating contests, seed spitting contests, watermelon rolling contests, watermelon lemonade, picnic foods, live music, wine tasting, singing hay rides and more. 

CUTCHOGUE

Gala: The Eastern Long Island Hospital is holding a fala to benefit the Emergency Department on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. on Oregon Road. Tickets are $175 per person. 

GREENPORT

Skate Festival: 
The 5th annual Greenport Skate Park Festival will be held on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will feature music and prizes. 

Theater: 
Henry V will be performed in Mitchell Park on Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m. All performances are free. 


RIVERHEAD

Music: 
A Neil Diamond Tribute Band will be featured at the Suffolk Theater on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $70 and include dinner. Ticket to the show only are $30.

Fundraiser: 
Peconic Community School is holding a cocktail reception at the Golden Earthworm Organic Farm, 652 Peconic Bay Blvd. on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person.

Festival: 
Garden of Eve Organic Farm is holding a Tomato Festival on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 10:00 a.m. each day. The event will feature tomato tasting and kids games.  

Lobster BBQ: 
The Riverhead Elks Club is hosting its annual Lobster/Chicken BBQ on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at 1239 E. Main St. Tickets are $40 each.

Run: A 5k and 10K run, sponsored by Riverhead Adventures,  will be held at EPCAL on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 

Beer Festival: 
The annual North Fork Craft Beer, BBQ & Wine Festival will be held at Martha Clara on Saturday from 1:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m For more information, click here

EAST HAMPTON

Music: 
St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble will perform at Guild Hall on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Cost: $23.00–$75.00. 

Authors Night: Gwyneth Paltrow, Padma Lakshmi, Marcus Samuelsson, Lidia Bastianich, Clive Davis, and Sylvia Day, just to name a few, will sign the books they've penned during Authors Night at the Gardiner Farm on James Lane in the village on Saturday. Tickets are still available for $100 for the reception, which starts at 5 p.m., and $250 dinner. 
 
Fisherman's FairThe annual Fisherman's fair will be held on Sunday, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Ashawagh Hall. The free event will feature food and crafts. 

Author Visit: 
BookHampton will host Patricia Volk, who will discuss and sign her new book, Shocked on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. 

Children's Author Visit: 
Meet acclaimed children’s book author Artie Bennett and many other  authors at the 6th annual East Hampton Library Children’s Fair at Gardiner Farm, 36 James Lane on Sunday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. 

SAG HARBOR: 

Carnival: 
The Sag Harbor Fireman's Carnival will be open through Saturday evening, opening at 5 p.m. and closing at 10:00 p.m. 

AMAGANSETT

Lemonade Sale: 
Hamptons Mamas will hold a lemonade sale fundraiser on Saturday, starting at 11:00 a.m. at 237 Main Street.

MONTAUK

Surf Contest: 
The 15th annual Rell Sunn Surf Contest and Art Auction will be held at Ditch Plains beach on Sunday, starting at 7:00 a.m. For more information, click here

SOUTHAMPTON

Breast Cancer Fundraiser: 
Enjoy great food while also helping East End breast cancer patients on Saturday at a Pink Apron party, which will be held at Southampton Hospital at 7 p.m. The Party is part of the Ellen Hermanson Foundation's 18th Annual Ellen’s Run, which will begin and end at Southampton Hospital’s Parrish Hall, on Sunday morning. 

History Tour: 
Bill Bhaleff will give a historic tour of the Halsey House, 249 South Main Street on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. The cost: $10. 

Auto Show: 
A variety of beautifully restored autos from the teens through the sixties will be on display by some of Long Island’s premier car collectors at the 6th annual antique auto show on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Rogers Mansion, 17 Meeting House Lane, Southampton Village.

Garden Party: 
Bring your family and friends to explore an agricultural project in Southampton Village. Flowers, vegetables, and herbs will be on display on Saturday at 2 p.m. The garden is behind the Pelletreau Silver Shop, 80 Main Street, Southampton Village. 

Puppet Show: Bring the kids to the 
Southampton Center, 25 Jobs Lane Southampton on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. for a puppet show. The event is free. 

QUOGUE

Art Show:
 The Quogue Historical Society will hold its 39th annual art show and sale on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Quogue Village Green, Jessup Avenue

HAMPTON BAYS

Music: 
The Long Island Teen Challenge Choir will be singing on Sunday, 
August 11 at the 8:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services at the Hampton Bays Assembly of God Church. 

Concert: The Hampton Bays Beautification Association's will hold its annual free Annual Concert Under The Stars featuring The Fabulous Greaseband on Sunday from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Ponquogue Beach on Dune Road, Hampton Bays.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH

Flea Market: On Saturday and Sunday, the Westhampton Rotary will hold its annual flea market on the great lawn in Westhampton Beach. The flea market opens at 10 a.m, on Saturday and noon on Sunday, closing at 5 p.m. both days. 

Author Visit: Turney Duff, a former trader with stints at both Morgan Stanley and Galleon, will join Books & Books on Main Street in Westhampton Beach to discuss The Buy Side, an era-defining portrait of Wall Street's dark side on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. 

Author Talk: Mac Griswold will discuss her new book The Manor, which takes place on Shelter Island, on Sunday at Books and Books on Main Street in Westhampton Beach at 3:00 p.m.
