The South Fork Natural History Museum is holding its 2nd Annual Save our Seagrass Celebration on Saturday at 5 p.m. The event will feature unlimited raw bar, local bay scallops, craft beer, local wine and live music under a heated tent on the grounds of the SoFo in Bridgehampton.
Participants begin with journaling, leading into improvisational movement exercises and games. Out of this process, personalized dance theater pieces are created, designed and directed by each participant concluding with a short presentation to invited audience (family, friends, etc.). It all starts Saturday at 12 p.m.
On Sunday at 2 p.m. head over to Guild Hall for a talk with Museum Director Christina Strassfield. On Friday night head over to the American Legion Post 419 in Amagansett to enjoy an evening of Dinner and Dance. The event will be holding a 50/50 raffle. They will also have A DJ. Cash bar.
On Saturday at 6 p.m. head over to the Richard J. Demato Gallery for its 2013 Top 25 Group Show. Twenty-five artists will have selected pieces on display and two judges will determine their fate for the grand prize of a Top 3 Group Exhibit in the Spring of 2014.
