The Wells Farm was established in 1661 making it the oldest family farm on Long Island. It continues to be run by three generations that remain committed to its two distinct operations. First, the Wells family is committed to agriculture and the growth and sale of potatoes and cabbage to markets across the United States. It also sells field corn and grains for local animals. Second, the Wells farm is known to many as a custom slaughter facility for consumption and religious practices. It specializes in barbequed prepared animals and is USDA approved.
