Tyler Ocon, Neighbor

I'm a recent SUNY Geneseo graduate with a B.A. in International Relations, seeking a niche of my own in this busy, busy world.

I have several passions that trump everything else in my life: music, food, wine, social justice, and traveling. I aspire to live my life as told by the words of Jimmy Buffett; I have saltwater running through my veins; I find peace in spirituality; I firmly believe that hugs are the best medicine; I'm Italian, Irish, German, Mexican, French, and a bunch of other things I can't remember; I've been known to suffer from severe fits of basorexia; I have a love affair with semicolons.

I aspire to visit every independent (and nonindependent) sovereign state on the planet in order to satisfy my insatiable wanderlust.  I have a habit of turning my stereo all the way up and dancing around my room.  I aspire to work as a diplomat with the U.S. Department of State, but for now I currently work as a server at a local restaurant in Mattituck, NY.

I've been told that I'm very good at cooking, being an insomniac, playing instruments of a stringed nature, singing, making people laugh, giving people relatively solid advice, retaining obscure tidbits of knowledge I've collected along the way, and learning bits and pieces of languages I experience. When I have time to sit down and reflect, I tend to think a lot about International law, foreign affairs, human rights, awesome date ideas, and how fantastic my life is.
