Tapas in the Tasting Room, Classic Cars, and Bingo Around Town on Thursday

Good morning, Riverhead. Here's a look at what's happening around town on a rainy Thursday.

- It's "Tapas in the Tasting Room" at the North Fork Tasting Room on Thursday at 6 p.m. Taste gourmet small-plate dishes, such as: Truffled Lobster Flatbreads, Sassafras Smoked Salmon, Truffled Duck Pate and more.The event features special pricing on appetizers on Thursdays. Reservations are appreciated.

- The Riverhead Town board's weekly work session takes place at 10 a.m. in Town Hall. On the agenda: The board is slated to discuss a new pedestrian bridge from Riverhead to Riverside. What do you think of the idea?

- A Farmers Market sets up at the Peconic Riverfront from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

- Shark Week adventures. It's Shark Week, and the Long Island Aquarium has a full slate of shark activities, including shark dives, talks, and scavenger hunts, for the family. Click here for the full rundown of shark-themed events.

-  If it's Thursday it's Classic Cars Cruise Night at the Peconic Riverfront in downtown Riverhead from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

- It's Bingo at the Riverhead Senior Center on Shade Tree Lane, every Thursday at 9:15 a.m.
