Don't Miss: Free July 4 Concert at Suffolk Theater
A free concert at the Suffolk Theater precedes fireworks on the Peconic this July 4.
Get the Independence Day party started early on Main Street in downtown Riverhead.
The Suffolk Theater is presenting Freedom Fest, featuring a free musical performance by the "swingin' GI Jivesters."
Festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m. and run through 8:30 p.m.
Later, fireworks at Grangebel Park take place at 9 p.m. on the Peconic waterfront, with entertainment by Brady Rymer and Riverhead American Idol contestants.
Suffolk Theater doors open at 6 p.m.; the dinner cost is additional.
